Afro Blue has quickly gained national attention, winning numerous awards singing music in the style of Take 6 and Manhattan Transfer, while adding their own unique sound. In 2011 the group was selected as one of 16 a cappella ensembles to participate in NBC’s reality show competition, The Sing Off, where they finished in the top four.

Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Jones
Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Jones - director of the The Pittsburgh Gospel Choir and one of the nation's foremost figures in choral conducting and pedagogy and an expert in the intersection between theology and musical expression.
Dr. Jones is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association, the Music Educators National Conference, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Tau Beta Sigma, and the National Guild of Sacred Dancers. He has published articles in the Mississippi ACDA/Mississippi Music Teachers Journal, the Academic Division of GMWA, and the Milestone Christian Bookstore Newsletter.
DJ Nate DA Phat Barber
Nate Mitchell, aka DJ Nate Da Phat Barber, is easily one of the most recognizable names in the Pittsburgh region. Over the last 20 years, he has built a reputation as one of the city's premier deejays and top-rate barbers. His list of businesses includes The Natural Choice Barber Shop & Salon in Pittsburgh, Charismatic Nightlife event & promotions company, and a thriving deejay business with an ever growing clientele. Nate has also produced and promoted some of best events Pittsburgh has ever witnessed. Not limiting himself to his hometown, Nate has rocked crowds in such markets as New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Richmond, DC and many more.
