B. MARSHALL PRODUCTIONS IN ASSOCIATION WITH COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ASSOCIATION PRESENTS DEJUAN BLAIR & LAMARR WOODLEY'S INDEPENDENT'S DAY CELEBRATION BASKETBALL EXTRAVAGANZA SATURDAY, JULY 3RD, 2010 AT THE PETERSON EVENT CENTER @ 12PM

DEJUAN

On Sat. July 3rd, Hill District native, Pitts Star & NBA Player DeJuan Blair, along with Pittsburgh Steeler LaMarr (Wood) Woodley will hold a Celebrity ("Charity") Basketball Event at the Petersen Events Center beginning at 12 noon.

LAMARR

Showcasing four games that includes City High-School Stars -vs- WPIAL Stars, MEDIA Personalities, Pitt Alum and former NBA & Semi-Pro Players. Both Blair and Woodley will be coaching select teams in the final game-day event.

DeJuan Blair & LaMarr Woodley, both coming from disadvantaged backgrounds contacted local promotions company b. marshall productions, to arrange a Charity Event that would provide a forum to give back to the community and also encourage youths to follow positive dreams.

DOOR PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL GO TO A LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
Community Empowerment Association, Inc. ("CEA"), that has been active in the community by providing family support services, education, housing, economic development, youth job readiness training, afterschool programs, summer camp, summer youth employment, energy efficiency/retro fitting construction training, as well as non-violent conflict resolution classes, gang prevention/intervention, behavioral health services since 1994.
