A LETTER FROM CARMEN BROWN
I am running to become a Judge on the Common Pleas Court, of Allegheny County. This Court is comprised of 43 Trial Court Judges, which are separated into divisions that consist of Criminal, Civil, Family and Orphans courts.
I made the decision to run because I believe I have diverse skills, qualifications, personal temperament and commitment to service required to be a fair and hardworking jurist.
I have long considered the idea of running for judge, and throughout my career, I have deliberately sought professional challenges that would give me a broad perspective on the law that is required of a judge.
I am proud to have first served my community, in a diverse law enforcement capacity, then later as a Judicial Clerk, and currently as a defense attorney.
Without question, over 22 years in varying degrees, I have gained a solid knowledge of the law applied in both the community and the courtroom. My perspective is balanced and molded by the tremendous respect I have for the mix of professionals who keep our justice system working and not losing sight of the citizens for whom the constitution was intended.
I ask for your support as I seek to apply my experience and qualifications as your public servant. Please read more about me here and get involved in the campaign.
I look forward to serving you.
Sincerely,
Carmen L. Robinson

CONTRIBUTIONS
As in any political campaign, fundraising is critical. The Committee to Elect Carmen L. Robinson needs to raise funds for the establishment of a campaign, the website, printing of campaign materials such as signage, and all of the related costs and expenses of running a political campaign. As our candidate approaches election day, we also hope to be able to implement a more formidable public relations campaign to create awareness and name recognition.
