THIS
IS A BLACK MATTERS EVENT SERIES
Black
Matters is a socioeconomic campaign engaging a universal consciousness
of African Americans in economics, politics, education, literature,
arts, and social change. Our interpretation of developing
a universal consciousness in us is to link into a collective circuit
of thought. This energy in which this circuit manifests is the
power of thinking things into existence.
Our mission is to incorporate a Black Wall Street
that is a major contribution to the Gross Domestic Product of
our American economy and to exercise this school of thought by
bringing non-profit and for- profit organizations together to
encourage corporate citizenship in a philanthropic capacity. Although
we have many ideas, we chose to promote spoken word event series
quarterly at the City of Pittsburgh August Wilson Center.
Black
Matters understand the significance of education and how it leads
to a higher quality of socioeconomic status. from this production
all proceeds will be directly donated to
"The Pittsburgh Promise"
on behalf of the Parents for the Promise of Pittsburgh Weil PreK-8
and Pittsburgh Obama 6-12.
Removing
the stage from their performance the two bring drama, comedy and
theatrics through poetry directly to the audience with an unparalleled
lyrical experience. writing4mylife.com
