PHOTOS The New Pittsburgh Courier, Sheridan Broadcasting and Darkins Communications proudly presented "Celebrating Women: Mind, Body & Soul " A Mother's Day Luncheon, which was held on Saturday, May 13, @ Dowe's on 9th, Downtown. Everyone was treated to a exciting event featuring special performances by Anita Levels, Jordan Welch, Sama Worthy and R&B Group Artistree. The Keynote Speaker Laverne Baker-Hotep was phenomenal. She gave women and men positive things to think about for a better life on health and wellness. Orlana Darkins and Kee Kee from WAMO 106.7FM gave away prizes and had raffles which included a chance to win a shopping spree! Big shoutouts to Orlana Darkins, Rod Doss, Denise Johnson, and my girl Kee Kee "The Midday Chick", Artistree, Dell Saunders, Rodney McCoy, Anita Levels and everyone who came out for this powerful event.
