BROTHA ASH PRODUCTIONS OWNER FULFILS
OTHERS' DREAMS AS HE FULFILS HIS OWN

By Amira Crosby | Urban Agenda

(Amira Crosby is a rising junior at City Charter High School in Pittsburgh, PA. This is her first year as a student in the Frank Bolden Urban Journalism Workshop which is a part of the PBMF Workshop.)

As a 5-year-old entertainer dancing has always been first with Ashley Woodson. A few years later at 10 years old he and his brothers formed the group “The Mini Globe Steppers,” Ashley Woodson savored the limelight that came with being on television and in newspapers.

Today, as founder of the Brotha Ash Productions entertainment company, he shines that light on celebrities such as The O'Jays, The Temptations, and Russell Simmons. Promoting black culture, the Hill District and unrecognized talent out of Pittsburgh is part of Ashley Woodson's lifelong dream to work for himself and uplift others.
